There have been calls for the further expansion of the Belfast Bikes network following the opening of a new station in Ballyhackamore .

He said: "I am delighted to finally see this installed after many, many months since I first proposed this location early last year with support from my Alliance colleagues. The delivery of this Ballyhackamore dock stretches the Belfast Bike network into a new part of the city, providing more options for commuter, leisure, retail and local tourism.
