A key roadblock in the ongoing royal rift could soon be removed, creating 'a new friendlier path for negotiations' between Prince Harry and King Charles, royal author Tina Brown has claimed.

Referring to Sir Alderton as Harry's"avowed" enemy, she said a replacement for the aide might help"create a new, friendlier path for negotiations" between the King and his youngest son. In his 2023 memoir Spare, Brown claimed Harry referred to Sir Alderton as"The Wasp" and hit out at the culture he ran behind palace walls.
