The 23-year-old, who can play as a left winger or attacking midfielder, is set to join on the Hornets on a season-long loan from KAA Gent, with an option to make the move permanent.
Chakvetadze came through the youth ranks at Dinamo Tbilisi, making his professional debut at the age of 17 and scored five goals in 26 appearances in his first season. Knee injuries halted his progress for much of the next two seasons and he then saw his opportunities limited at Gent, which led to a loan move to SV Hamburger in January 22.
