The 52-year-old reality star and celebrity jewellery designer died on Monday at her home in New York City’s Tribeca neighbourhood just weeks after undergoing emergency surgery related to a skiing accident. “Luckily I always wear a helmet, it didn’t seem that bad at the time and I was able to ski to the bottom.

In a statement on Wednesday, the late jewellery designer’s son Sebastian Kain confirmed his mother had died.“I know she wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news to people who supported her.”
