Employment Hero founder Ben Thompson has published a letter sent by Hostplus concerning the start-up’s ongoing social media campaign against the super fund.

Hostplus did not respond directly to questions about the published letter, but said it would continue to engage with the Employment Hero board regarding business practices and the “concerning behaviour of its CEO”. “Consistent with our engagement with investee companies that we consider are failing to meet standards of corporate governance, we will be seeking to improve the culture of compliance at Employment Hero from within and will be calling on its board to explain how it intends to address the matters outlined above in the interests of all stakeholders,” a Hostplus spokesman said.
