Record September temperatures for NSWTemperatures in New South Wales are reaching above-normal levels and are on track to be record-high. Sky News Meteorologist Rob Sharpe says New South Wales has now had two days in a row of temperatures above 30 degrees and if the state experiences three, it will be a “new record” for September. “We’re on track for five so it is rather absurd,” Mr Sharpe said. “The nights though are not too bad, a bit warmer than usual for this time of the year, but by summer standards it’s cooler than usual. “That’s why it’s not a heatwave for most locations.”
