We've received a House of the Dragon Season 2 release date window update and now have a better knowledge of when the GOT prequel returns.
prequel series will return as we’ve received a, HBO Max content CEO Casey Bloy said that it would be a “good guess” that the show would be returning sometime in 2024 but that it wouldn’t be eligible for the 2024 Emmy season. The Emmys eligibility period ends on May 31, 2024, which puts theSeason 2 release date window at sometime during summer 2024. That means we have over a year before we’ll get to see more from the series.series spin-offs releasing, noting that there is no schedule for them.
“My philosophy is a good script is number one priority,” Bloy says. “I am not doing it based on wanting to have one a year, two a year. I want to do it based on the scripts that we’re excited about.”, we developed a lot of shows, shot a pilot, developed a bunch of scripts and we got,” Bloys notes. “To do that again is going to take the same amount of effort. You have to develop a lot of things, try things. You never know what’s going to work. So we’re currently doing that.
