Man charged with murder over shooting in northwest Houston
COURTESY/Houston Police Departmenton Friday was charged with murder, according to the Houston Police Department.
Demetric Tucker, 27, is accused of killing Mylon Phillips in a shooting in the 8100 block of West Tidwell. Police on Thursday afternoon were called to a report of a shooting in front of a convenience store. When officers arrived, they found Phillips on the ground and unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a press release.
Northwest officers are at a shooting scene 8100 W. Tidwell. Adult male transported in critical condition. Adult male shooter returned to the scene and surrendered to officers. 202
