D-FW leads the country in industrial building including these warehouses going up in North Fort Worth.A Houston developer is the latest builder headed to southern Dallas County with plans for a new business park.Called Port 45, the development at Interstate 45 and Pike Road will contain more than 560,000 square feet, according to planning documents filed with the state.Richardson-based Alliance Architects designed the new industrial park.
Started in the late 1990s, the company has commercial real estate projects in six states, including a new warehouse development in suburban Houston.Southern Dallas County is North Texas’ fastest growing industrial building market, with more than 20 million square feet of space on the way. The Dallas-Fort Worth area leads the country with more than 56 million square feet of warehouse and distribution building construction.
