Black Restaurant Week spotlights Houston’s Black-owned culinary stars

returns to the city, highlighting the culinary achievements and legacies of local Black-owned businesses.

More than 100 area restaurants are ready to serve up signature and specialty dishes for the event that begins April 1 and runs through April 10. Diners can Some of the participating restaurants include local favorites such as Alfreda’s Soul Food, Frenchy’s, Davis Street at Hermann Park, Craft Burger, Fainmous BBQ, Taste Bar + Kitchen, Twisted Grilled cheese, Cool Runnings Jamaican Grill, ChopnBlok, Lucille’s, The Breakfast Klub, Thirteen, Mico’s Hot Chicken, Esther’s Cajun Café, and Reggae Hut.
