, a Los Angeles-based chicken sandwich brand opening its first Houston location at 1223 W. 11th in the Heights.
Founded by chef Pace Webb and her husband Chris Georgalas, Daddy’s Chicken Shack specializes in buttermilk-brined fried chicken sandwiches served on brioche buns. The menu includes the original Big Daddy Sandwich, as well as Nashville hot sandwich, waffle-bun sandwich, sliders, vegan sandwich , breakfast chicken sandwiches, chicken salad bowls, popcorn chicken, chicken fingers, and loaded fries.
The first Daddy’s Chicken Shack restaurant opened in Pasadena, Calf., in 2018. The Houston location, which will have indoor and outdoor seating for 50, is the first location outside California. It will feature two-drive-up windows for mobile orders and a walk-up window. It will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A grand opening is set for Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the first 100 guests receiving swag bags and all customers receiving a buy-one/get-one coupon for their next visit to Daddy’s.
