Tre'Vour Wallace-Sims, who spent his first two years in the NFL with Jacksonville, has signed with the Texans. The Texans signed veteran offensive guard Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms on Monday, further bolstering an offensive line that is in dire need of improvement. Wallace-Simms, 24, spent the last two seasons with the Jaguars after going undrafted out of Missouri.

The 6-5, 330-pound lineman spent the majority of last season on Jacksonville’s practice squad, and he was elevated for one game against the Patriots in Week 17 and played 17 total offensive snaps. Wallace-Simms appeared in four other games for the Jaguars in 2020, when he played 10 total special teams snaps.

The Texans now have seven offensive guards under contract. The franchise spent its No. 15 overall pick on Texas A&M lineman Kenyon Green, who is expected to start at left guard. General manager Nick Caserio also signed Wallace-Simms’ teammate, A.J. Cann, who was Jacksonville’s primary starter at right guard for eight seasons.

Cann and Wallace-Simms will both reunite with former Jaguars offensive line coach George Warhop, whom newly promoted coach Lovie Smith hired to coach the same position in Houston.
