A stalled cold front was expected to create a chance of isolated showers north of Interstate 10 and patchy fog to the south. Temperatures fell to mid-60s near the coast and into the 50s north of Houston.The day is expected to be cloudy and not as warm as Thursday. Isolated showers are possible around College Station and sea fog could linger near the coast.
Temperatures were forecasted to be near 80 through most of the region, but it could be about 10 degrees cooler in Galveston, according to the weather service.Expect a pattern of warm and muggy weather to continue through the weekend and up until next Wednesday. There is a chance of showers late Sunday into Monday and then warm and dry conditions on Tuesday.
