A short film inspired by renowned author Judith Wright's family history in colonial Queensland has showcased the resilience of First Nations people – and brought a diverse community together. Barada and Darumbal people collaborated with writer-director Joanna Joy, from Sydney, and they watched the final product at a premiere in Rockhampton and Clarke Creek in central Queensland.
