Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson is 'inspiring' Gemma Collins to shape up for her wedding, after the Aussie and Essex duo formed an 'unlikely' but 'genuine' friendship and mutual respect
Larger-than-life star Gemma Collins shocked many fans when she posted a selfie with her 'soul sister' Rebel Wilson - and now a source has told OK! that the GC has been 'inspired' by her pal Rebel, as she vows to shed the pounds for her upcoming wedding day - or shall we say, wedding days!
They added: "They’ve also both had tough times in love and with trolling. Gemma especially is really inspired by Rebel. She is so impressed by her incredible weight loss journey; she's taking inspiration from how Rebel shed the pounds to help her on the road to her own big wedding shape-up." And the source says that, while the Essex and Aussie-born stars may have an "unlikely friendship", it has blossomed into a "very genuine one."
In 2020, Rebel made a commitment to slimming down, during an intense transformation, which she dubbed her "year of health." During this time, the star came face to face with her issues with "stress eating.", while she has admitted also to 'experimenting' briefly with diabetes drug Ozempic to maintain her weight loss.
