For the first time ever, Guide Dogs Australia will be marching proudly at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. 9News
"Gulliver will literally be guiding the way for those involved with the Guide Dogs float in this year's march with lights and bright colours adorning him."
While Gulliver proudly makes his way from Hyde Park, those in the crowd will be able to feel the textures of his outfit with samples passed around safely behind the partition. He has some light perception, but the recent onset of Glaucoma means going about his everyday business can be a struggle. "If like me, you once had sight and can remember what the colour and excitement looked like, that can help along with hearing the energy of the crowd."
