Met Office predicts how hot Greater Manchester will get next week as temperatures set to rise
Things are expected to heat up in Greater Manchester next week with more sunshine on the way following stormy weather in the region over the last couple of days.
Travel problems hit the road and rail network in south Wales this morning, with major motorways including two sections of the M4 as well as the M48 Severn Bridge closed due to the windy conditions. But from the end of this week, we can expect some much more pleasant weather.The Met Office has predicted that temperatures will soar from Sunday with higher temperatures than average expected next week. In Greater Manchester, temperatures could be as high as 20C.
"The fine and relatively warm weather is set to continue throughout most of next week with temperatures of 18 to 20 Celsius during the days but still rather chilly overnight . It should be generally bright with spells of warm sunshine. According to the Met Office forecast, conditions will be mostly cloudy on Sunday - when the Manchester Marathon hits the city - but sunshine is expected to break through on Monday evening and Tuesday.
