Inflation has reached a level not seen in Australia for over two decades and shoppers are feeling the pinch. 9News

The rises are even bigger for things like red meat, which is up 9 per cent, and vegetables, which have increased in price by a whopping 14 per cent. Spare parts for a car are up to 10 per cent more pricey, and as we're painfully aware - filling the car costs 32 per cent more than it did a year ago.Treasurer Jim Chalmers warned inflation will be significantly higher than expected, hitting 7 per cent by the end of the year.One piece of good news is the cost of fruit has dropped by just over 1 per cent.
