After a lacklustre summer, sunshine and high temperatures are expected across much of the UK this week
after a summer of decidedly mixed weather that saw little in the way of sunshine.The possibility of fine weather is giving many Britons hope in the last days of summer.these are only likely to be in the south and east of England, however, although warmer, sunnier conditions are forecast for most places.
“Many places can expect to see maximum temperatures rise to 25°C or above for several days, which would bring some locations into the realm of heatwave conditions.” In London, temperatures must breach 28C for three days in a row for there to be a heatwave, while in the East Riding of Yorkshire temperatures need to remain above 26C.
