Man Utd take on Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday and here's how our writers think they should start.
Many believed Erik ten Hag would be sacked during the international break after overseeing United's worst start to a Premier League season but he remains in charge. England appointed Thomas Tuchel this week, which has further narrowed down the list of potential replacements for Ten Hag, but he needs to inspire urgent improvement.
Manuel Ugarte has got to start showing he is United material. Reverting to Casemiro and Christian Eriksen would be regressive. Midfield selections are more difficult. Ugarte only had a recovery session on Thursday and picked up a knock on international duty. He also doesn't seem to have Ten Hag's trust yet but he was signed to replace Casemiro and that's what he should do. United's record with Casemiro and Eriksen in midfield is poor and they need to avoid that.
