Formula 1: Lando Norris wasn't too pleased with Oscar Piastri's risky overtake on Lap 1 of the Italian Grand Prix.

It was the seventh time Norris has failed to hold the lead at the end of the first lap after starting a grand prix or sprint from pole, a 100 per cent failure record. “Norris started from pole and for the seventh time in a row failed to lead at the end of the first lap … he left the door wide open to Oscar Piastri to pass him and then was caught off guard and lost another place.
“Norris has had these great highs, the Netherlands being one of them, but is still just too inconsistent for me to be confident that even with team orders he will win the title.”PODCAST: After turning a front-row lockout into a two-three finish behind an excellent Charles Leclerc, McLaren has some serious thinking to do about how it approaches the drivers championship.
“Look at the 1980s and early 1990s. McLaren has hung itself on the success that it had with Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna not for the constructors championships but for the drivers championships. It’s built its reputation on that success.
