Otto Porter Jr. joined NBC Sports Bay Area’s GrantLiffmann on the latest episode of Dubs Talk this week and shed light on how getting to know Steph Curry behind the scenes has been “unbelievable.”
Before signing with Golden State, Porter played against Curry and the Warriors as a member of the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic from 2013-21. The small forward was all too familiar with Curry’s shooting abilities over the years, but didn’t understand the depth of his dedication until this season.
“As far as his work ethic and what he does … I see why he’s able to be successful and be elite, because he puts in the time and hours when people are in the gym or when they’re not in the gym,” Porter said.
