Over 800,000 student-loan borrowers are getting their debt wiped out in the coming months. Here's what other borrowers should know if they also want that relief.

This relief is automatic and the department said it will send emails to eligible borrowers who have"accumulated the equivalent of either 20 or 25 years of qualifying months," according to the press release.
