In a first, an Astros World Series game will be played at the same time as a Texans game Thursday night.

Game 5 of the Astros-Phillies World Series is scheduled to begin at 7:03 p.m. Central on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park, 12 minutes before the Texans and Eagles are slated to kick off at NRG Stadium. The games already conflicted on the television grid, with the Texans' game originally slated to air on Fox 26 before a rainout Monday pushed the World Series schedule back a day. The Texans-Eagles game is streaming nationally on Amazon Prime, but the NFL makes those games available on over-the air TV in local markets.
