Labor’s “schools and hospitals before stadiums” pitch has been the strongest line of attack that Labor has had.

This is because the government has not let the board off the leash to prosecute the case for a new stadium. Shepherd, one of the most experienced businessmen in the city, spoke in a parliamentary inquiry, but wasn’t allowed to draft his own media statements.
