“After a deep tragedy, it’s important to find hope and our film explores that,” Nyong’o said. “When someone passes away, it has an effect on everyone, and Ryan has written a story that is extremely honest. We see how all the characters deal with T’Challa’s death and grieve in different ways. Nakia is a little bit more advanced in the stages of grief than other characters and even more than I was when I made this film.
