Ken Bruce is taking Popmaster to Greatest Hits Radio - will he lure Radio 2 listeners too?
, Bruce promised “me and my musings and all the great records you know and love from the 70s, 80s and 90s.The BBC legend is by no means the only high-profile DJ to join Greatest Hits Radio in recent times.
Simon Mayo, Bruce’s former Radio 2 colleague, hosts Drivetime every weekday at 4pm, and The Album Show on Sundays from 1pm. Paul Gambaccini presents America’s Greatest Hits every Saturday between 5pm and 7pm, while Jenny Powell plays the biggest hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s from 6am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp presents the Mix Tape every Friday from 7pm, and Jackie Brambles hosts The Evening Show at 7pm from Monday to Thursday.
