More national protests for abortion rights are under way. Here's how to join

While the official ruling is not expected until June, the presumed outcome would have a devastating impact on abortion access across the country. Following the news, pro-choice protesters swarmed outside the Supreme Court, where they gathered well into Tuesday morning.
ShutDownDC’s Reproductive Freedom Assembly: May 3, 5 p.m. ET, Washington, D.C. In conjunction with Black-led abolitionist hub Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, this D.C.-based organization is holding a protest on the steps of the Supreme Court today at 5 p.m. to “center Black resilience” in the face of “impending criminalization of Black freedom and choice.”
Socialist Alternative emergency protest: May 3, 6 p.m. ET, Boston and Philadelphia The Boston chapter of Socialist Alternative will hold an emergency protest today at 6 p.m. outside the Boston statehouse. The Philadelphia chapter’s protest will also take place at 6 p.m. at the north side of city hall.
The Women’s March: May 3, 5 p.m. local time, various cities The Women’s March is calling upon supporters across the country to protest outside local federal courthouses, federal buildings, town halls, and town squares today at 5 p.m. You can sign a pledge to rally here. Party for Socialism and Liberation protests: May 3 and 4, various cities The socialist organization is putting together national protests on May 3 and May 4 that are happening across the country, including in Albuquerque, Asheville, Dallas, Los Angeles Louisville, D.C., and more.
