How to watch 2024 Volta a Catalunya LIVE on SBS

The stage racing continues on SBS in 2024 with all the action from the Volta a Catalunya live from March 18 to 24.

cycling events in the world on SBS On Demand With seven stages in as many days, the Spain-based race provides the peloton with a perfect opportunity to prepare for what is to come at the Giro d’Italia and, later, the Tour de France. It all begins in Sant Feliu de Guixols, where the opening stage stretches 173.9 kilometres from the coast of Catalonia before heading inland off the back of four climbs.

A two-hour transfer to Berga will then precede a penultimate stage teeming with classified climbs – five, in fact – including the 4,085-metre-long climb to the finish line in Queralt. The Volta maintains its punishing theme right to the end in Barcelona, complete with a category three climb of the Coll de la Creu de I’Ordal and six circuits that include the Alt del Castell de Montjuic.
