It's a huge night for the Dons as they head to Scandinavia hoping to take a step closer to a cash boost.

It's the night all at Aberdeen have been waiting for as they return to the city of one of their greatest achievements in search of another.

The 40th anniversary of the legendary Gothenburg Greats side has taken place this year and Barry Robson's men will hope for their own slice of European glory in Sweden. But while this isn't quite the size of beating Real Madrid in a European Cup Winners Cup showpiece, there's no underestimating how big Thursday's Europa League play-off with BK Hacken is.

Victory over two legs for the Dons will bank a major cash injection similar to what Hearts got last season for entering the Europa Conference League - with more financial boosts in store for Aberdeen if they get into UEFA's second tier competition. The first leg is away before the return to Pittodrie in just over a week's time and here is everything you need to know about the clash.

Where and when will the game take place? The game will take place at the Bravida Arena on Thursday, August 25. Kick-off is today at 6:00pm.Will there be a live stream? Yes. It can be streamed live via Aberdeen's individual channel. A pass for the game will cost £13.99 and coverage will start approximately 5:50pmFans can purchase the game individually via Red TV here.
