Williams, now a member of the Baltimore Ravens, looked back fondly on his time with the Utes during a recent appearance on the podcast ‘Truss Levelz.’ Williams had the most to say about the fan support at Rice-Eccles Stadium, including a memory of what to this day is still a puzzling experience.Williams was light on the details. He didn’t remember the opposing team, nor what exactly the penalty was.
“He’s had a great career,” Whittingham said. “Doesn’t surprise me a bit. He’s so athletic, so much a student of the game and such a great work ethic. It’s no surprise he’s having the success he is.” Williams said his overall experience at Utah was “great.” He even informed the hosts about some of the“Have you seen our helmets?” Williams said. “Our helmets are ridiculous. Some are hand-painted.”
Williams also said his favorite interception while at Utah came against Arizona in a sequence where he caught the ball with one hand while falling down.
