The euphoria associated with exams ending is often fleeting, with the final answer on the last exam script triggering a mental countdown for many year 12 students. They transition from students sitting their final exam to students awaiting results, and that shift can be disconcerting.
The sudden shift from hours of studying to having almost nothing to do with your time may feel strange, and you might swing from hope on one day to fear of failure on the next. Such swings are normal. Ideally, you should fill this time with activities, a part-time job, a hobby, volunteering – anything to keep you occupied.
