BREAKING HPD called to River Oaks neighborhood where Sen. Ted Cruz resides
The Houston Police Department sent officers to a part of River Oaks on Tuesday night where U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is known to reside.
HPD told Eyewitness News that it responded to reports of a 14-year-old with self-inflicted stab wounds on the arms at 7:44 p.m. in the 3000 block of Ella Lee Lane, which is just off Kirby Drive.The teen, whose gender was not disclosed, was taken to the hospital.Previous ABC13 stories on Ted Cruz ABC13 has reached out to the Texas senator's camp to confirm whether the family is connected with the police response.
