AT just 22, Jack Rudoni's star is firmly in the ascendant at Huddersfield Town.

After marking himself out as a bright young thing at previous club AFC Wimbledon, the midfielder is starting to make an impression at Championship level and it is being duly noted by his manager Darren Moore. Moore's predecessor Neil Warnock regularly talked up the Surrey-born player, while adding a caveat about him addressing a lack of goals to match his ability. Rudoni's strike in Saturday's 2-1 home victory over QPR provided more evidence that he is doing something about that.

Never one to dispense with individual praise wantonly, the fact that the Terriers chief has chosen to speak already about the credentials of Rudoni in gushing terms carries weight. Moore said: 'He looks like he could be a legend for Huddersfield Town going forward in terms of where he is at and what he is doing. 'You see his attributes as a midfield player. He runs and dribbles with the ball well and passes it well and his game intelligence and understanding is really good.
