A huge emergency services presence responded last night after bins were set on fire by 'groups of youths' in Stockport.
Police said officers were first called to the area at around 9pm to 'reports that a number of bins had been set on fire'. The force added that groups of youths had to be 'dispersed'.No arrests were made. Emergency services were on the scene until around midnight. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Extra officers will be on patrol in Brinnington, Stockport, after a series of anti-social behaviour incidents. Emergency services attended the area from about 9pm to midnight on 17 February 2023 after reports that a number of bins had been set on fire.
