LIVE: Huge emergency service presence at Salford Civic Centre following reports of man on scaffolding
In an update, Greater Manchester Police said the man has come down off the scaffolding.
A spokesperson said: "At around 10:45am today Greater Manchester Police were called to concerns for welfare of a man on Chorley Road, Salford."The scene has now closed and the man is being supported by specialist services."
