Hugh Jackman has confirmed his relationship with Broadway star Sutton Foster, following his split from Deborra-Lee Furness.
Hugh Jackman has publicly confirmed his long-rumoured romance with Broadway star Sutton Foster more than one year after his surprise split from Deborra-Lee Furness. The stars are understood to have grown close while appearing together in the 2022 Broadway musical Music Man, but were both still married to their respective spouses. They were spotted together in the crowd as Foster made her debut in a revival of Once Upon a Mattress in Los Angeles on Friday.
On Tuesday, People magazine published exclusive photos of Jackman and Foster holding hands while enjoying a date night in Los Angeles on Monday night local time. According to a source close to Jackman who spoke to New Idea magazine, the decision to publicly confirm their romantic relationship came after weeks of soul searching. “They are talking about going public sometime in the next few weeks, which Hugh is both excited and nervous about,” a source told the publication on Monday. Jackman, 56, recently had an Aussie homecoming for the Christmas break and was spotted in and around Bondi with his adopted children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19.while his ex-wife and mother to his children Deborra-Lee Furness remained in New York.The insider claimed that Jackman’s time in Australia without Foster “gave him clarity and proved what they have is real”.
