Tina Satchwell, 45, disappeared from her home in March 2017 and cops found skeletal remains at the property this week after receiving new information.
Human remains discovered in a house this week have been identified through dental records as being a woman missing for over six years. Tina Satchwell, 45, disappeared from her home in Youghal, Co. Cork, in March 2017.
It comes as a man in his 50s was arrested and continues to be questioned by officers in Cobh Garda Station this morning. The man, who is known to Ms Satchwell, was nicked following the discovery in an alcove under the stairway of Tina's former home in Grattan Street. Garda relaunched a search at Tina's home after recent utility works near the property aroused suspicions, with the alarm being raised by workers examining the drains.
