A mother has vowed to never see an American comedian again after she was ordered to leave his Victorian show when her baby made noises during his performance.
A breastfeeding mother has spoken out after a well-known American comedian kicked her out of his show over her child's gurgling noise which he claimed was "ruining his train of thought".
Comedian Arj Barker had asked a mother and her baby to leave his Melbourne show after complaining the child was"ruining his train of thought". Picture: SuppliedSpeaking to 3AW on Monday, the mother, named Trish, said the 49-year-old comedian was"quite intimidating" when he stood next to her and her baby.
The mother was shocked but obliged as she did not want to ruin the night for the other people who had paid about $55 to see Barker for 60 minutes. Trish, who is a fan of Barker's and has gone to a number of his shows in the past, ruled out going to any of his performances in the future due to the incident.
The mother revealed she had gone to another show where her baby made a noise, but the comedian Dave Hughes took it in his stride and use it as part of his skit.
