The First Minister told Murdo Fraser to 'stop attacking the police' following a row over the recording of non-crime hate incidents.
Humza Yousaf has branded a Conservative MSP "ludicrous" after he accused Police Scotland of bias in a row over hate crime .
Fraser had likened identifying as non-binary to identifying "as a cat" in relation to Scottish Government equality policies last November. "I have a number of serious questions which arise from this and for which I would be grateful to have your urgent response.” Fraser added: "Does Police Scotland accept that the decision to record a NCHI in my case, but not in that of the SNP First Minister, suggest political bias?"
"And I think anyone looking objectively over the last year couldn't possibly make the argument there has been police bias towards the SNP, or any political party. It's a ridiculous statement to make. Fraser had previously commented on a newspaper article about the Scottish Government's Non-Binary Equality Action Plan last November.
