Calls have been made for Home Secretary Suella Braverman to be sacked after far-right protestors clashed with police on Armistice Day in London leading to 100 being held.

Humza Yousaf has called for Suella Braverman to be sacked "without delay" after far-right protestors in England clashed with police on Armistice Day.

The group, which had been chanting "England 'til I die" pushed through the police barrier, with some shouting "let's have them" as officers hit out with batons. Further clashes with police took place in Chinatown with counter-protesters chanting: "You're not English any more" towards officers. Following the scenes, First Minister Humza Yousaf MSP tweeted: "The far-right has been emboldened by the Home Secretary. She has spent her week fanning the flames of division. They are now attacking the Police on Armistice Day.Braverman has been under fire from all sides after branding pro-Palestinian demonstrators “hate marchers” and “Islamists” intending to use Armistice Day to dominate the streets of London.
