Fox was formally suspended by the broadcaster after he made made a series of remarks about PoliticsJOE reporter Ava Evans

Humza Yousaf has branded Laurence Fox a "vile neanderthal" after the commentator was suspended by GB News for comments he made about a female journalist.

Fox's comments came after a live discussion in which Evans said on the BBC that calls for a minister for men "feed into the culture war".First Minister Yousaf hit out and Fox on Twitter, and said GB News presenter Dan Wooton should have stepped in. "I'm so sorry [Ava Evans] had to listen to this. It is why men have to step up and challenge misogynistic abuse wherever we see it. Pleased Ofcom investigating."The commentator also shared a video of Humza Yousaf talking about almost every senior position in Scottish society being held by a white person.

“That little woman has been fed, spoon-fed oppression day after day after day… starting with the lie of the gender wage gap, and she’s sat there and I’m going, if I met you in a bar and that was like sentence three, chances of me just walking away are just huge.
