The First Minister will use his keynote speech at SNP conference today to claim support for Scottish independence can be grown into a 'sustained majority'.
Humza Yousaf will today pledge to slash waiting times in the NHS by investing an extra £100 million in the health service each year until 2026.
"I am announcing today that in each of the next three years we will invest an extra £100 million to cut waiting lists. The party will claim it has a mandate to begin independence talks with Westminster if it wins a majority of seats in Scotland at the next general election.
