Universities and college staff across Scotland have taken strike action this week as part of a dispute over pay and conditions.

Members of Unite, Unison, EIS Further Education Lecturers Association and the University and Colleges Union held a rally at the Buchanan Steps in protest against a “real-terms pay cut” of 5% to 6% which unions say has been “imposed” on them.
