Hurricane Humberto continues to strengthen and has become a major hurricane as it moves away from the United States toward Bermuda.
With maximum sustained wind speeds of up to 115 mph -- and gusts up to 125 mph -- Tuesday evening, the large Category 3 storm is forecast to pass dangerously close Wednesday night to Bermuda.A hurricane warning has been issued by the Bermuda Weather Service. Such a warning is issued when hurricane conditions are expected within the next 36 hours.
