A husband and father who was killed while riding a scooter 'was always willing to help,' his wife said.
The crash happened at 10:22 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of Five Mile Road. Siobhan said Randall had just left their home and turned onto Five Mile Road, just south of Smith Middle School, when a southbound vehicle struck him.“Police said they were speeding significantly,’’ said Siobhan, who added that the scooter was street legal, and that her husband was wearing a helmet.
Randall Quentin Johnson is being remembered for his devotion to his family and for his willingness to always help others, said his wife, Siobhan Johnson. He was affectionately known as “Que” and leaves behind 12-year-old son, Kaeden, and 5-year-old daughter, Carsyn. They grew all of their own produce on their family farm and were known to have some of the best around. Word got out after they helped start a farmer’s market in Tarrant, and always shared their crops with anyone who needed the help.“Those who knew Randall described him as diligent, a hard worker, a passionate father, a doting husband and a loyal friend,’’ Taylor Holman wrote in the GoFundMe.
