Public officials and news crews will observe the installation of the SUV’s battery at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama plant.the Electrified GV70 SUV and a hybrid version of the Santa Fe at the Montgomery plant. The company announced an investment of $300 million and the creation of 200 jobs to make the electric SUVs in Montgomery.
