BREAKING: Australian singer Helen Reddy, best known for her hit song I Am Woman, has died aged 78 in Los Angeles, her family has revealed.
, writing: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helen Reddy, on the afternoon of September 29th 2020 in Los Angeles.
“She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and a truly formidable woman. Our hearts are broken. But we take comfort in the knowledge that her voice will live on forever.”Born in Victoria, Reddy went on to become an international star in the 1970s and was the world’s top selling female vocalist in 1973 and 1974.which earned Reddy a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal.More to come.
