Ohio State has yet to make a Sweet 16 in Chris Holtmann's tenure, but the OSU coach believes it will happen down the line, saying 'I believe in what we're doing.'
Ohio State's season came to an abrupt end Sunday after a 71-61 second-round NCAA Tournament loss to Villanova Sunday.
Despite the defeat, OSU head coach Chris Holtmann is confident in the direction of the program moving forward, and believes the Buckeyes will breakthrough and earn a Sweet 16 berth in future seasons. "Listen, it's hard to win in this tournament," Holtmann said after the loss. "We've had four opportunities and we've performed pretty well in three of them. I believe in what we're doing, I'm more than confident it will happen."
