Thousands of people have gathered for a national remembrance service for the 50 people killed in the Christchurch terrorist attack.New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern spoke, while Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten were also in attendancePrime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten were among dignitaries from 59 countries attending the service at Christchurch's Hagley Park, honouring the victims of the mosque attack.
A survivor of the attack, Farid Ahmed, offered up a prayer at the service, praying for safety and security in New Zealand, as well as peace and happiness for people the world over.
